01 Jul Basilica of San Francesco
The recently-restored Basilica of San Francesco is one of the most important religious monuments in the historical center of Terni; the original building, still visible in the facade, dates back to 1265. Of particular artistic interest are the belltower, with its polychrome tile decoration and twin- and four-light Gothic windows with interlaced arches, and the fresco cycle in the Paradisi Chapel on the theme of the Last Judgement.
